WARNING - To those currently looking for 'sunny, spacious' rooms in e.g. single family homes. Please stay away from a landlord at Alta Vista Dr / Dale (bus stop), the room is in a house at Caledon ST.
If you have questions, you can txt me / email me (2489588526@qq.com).
You can hear absolutely everything anybody does in this house - there is zero insulation of any kind.
The same is true for the cold - it is extremely poorly isolated which is why (other than the windows which are ok) the walls are crazy cold and probably also why they want to keep the temperature in the house at 19degrees (in my room) / 20 degrees (in the rest of the first floor) with the basement probably also being closer to 19 degrees.
This house, close enough to the city centre and therefore especially for students wanting to go to University of Ottawa or Carleton, an issue / something they should know about:
I am not making any specific accusations (as this is not the place and is simply meant as a "heads up"), I once again believe it is my right to speak out.
I have NOT been breaking the lease. I have NOT been doing anything that would rectify this behaviour - I have not threatened anybody, I have not hurt anybody, I have not damaged anything or done anything else to intentionally or unintentionally damage any "relationship".
What they do to people has nothing to do with how nice you are - it simply has to do with you living there and the landlord being AT THE SAME TIME your room mates and your room mates' parents. It is the right of everyone to know that there is something going on in this house that may not be normal. It is in everyone's right to judge - once again. Please contact me and speak to me if you would like to know details. I am happy to share but just exactly for it is NOT about bad-mouthing others but about making sure they cannot CONTINUE to do these things they have done to me and countless others in six years.
