This apartment is all about location. It's a three bedroom apartment, with a garden (unheard of in Montreal) and the rent is really affordable. This comes with inconveniences: Expect 0 upgrades (When I needed to repair the bathroom, the landlord wanted to use a different coloured tile - and it was already white tile...). Unless something is completely falling apart it will not be repaired. At one point I had a problem with mice. They paid for the cost of poison and traps and apparently sent an exterminator, but it seems to be a recurring problem every fall. Insulation is terrible, expect hydro bills of $500 per month during winter months, and you won't reach temperatures over 18 degrees.
