I would avoid this place like the plague. The landlord and her family are well known at the Regie du logement. She had to be ordered by the city to do repairs on her building because she refused to do so even when there was a waterfall in one of the tenant's apartment and black mold covered the walls.
She waited until a city inspector ordered the repairs done, and then proceeded to try to stalle the work.

Like any horror story everything starts off seemingly normal until you spend some time there. I would give this place minus stars if I could and slap on a danger sticker to this place.

The building is not maintained at all and is filled with mould and mildew which you can smell seeping out of the walls. There were also cockroaches and rodents in the apartment. In the spring and summertime the common hallway, basement apartment, and storage area would flood with raw sewage water and the landlord would just leave it there.

When we complained and asked her to address are concerns. The landlord and her family started harassing and bullying us.

Her son would look into my windows when I was home alone, or her husband would stand out in front of our door in the common hall and just watch us. If our windows were open he would spray water into our apartment . They would also enter our apartment when we were not home.

There is a reason the building is completely empty even though the previous tenants only paid around $380.00- $400 for 1 bedroom, $630.00 to $650.00 for 2 bedroom to live in this great neighborhood. The landlord is the perfect example of wolves in sheep's clothing, she comes off as a very charming grandmother type and is very disarming because of her age but watch out. Don't take my word for it ask the people who live on that street.
