Good for students. Close to université de Montréal ans HEC. There is a shopping center next to the apartment. Perfect if you don't have a car.

It's a old building with a big need of modernisation. The rent is decent and the apartments are quite big. You'll never hear about the landlord unless you didn't pay your rent on time.

Overall, I would recommend but not for long term.

Landlord does not seem to care about anything that goes on in the building, is rude, refuses to be bothered with requests or complaints, does not take care of repairs or inappropriate situations in the building, lies (i.e.: trying to make me believe that since the maintenance guy signed the lease in her name, she has no part in dealing with the situation of the apartment - water dripping from the ceiling - and that the contract was signed with him. Also, she has a short memory : make sure that any agreement you have with her is put in writing or that you keep some sort of record.
