Noise insulation

Washer/Dryer
Building - quiet neighbours/hood
Landlord - reachable
House - bad insulation (meaning I hear when my neighbour takes a shower or flushes the toilet...VERY LOUD hehe) and the STAIRS NEVER get cleaned by the landlord...he says it''s up to us tenants? (maybe he has the law on his side regarding this point? but I think it''s the least thing a landlord could do for their tenants?)
Landlord - never met my landlord, only the man that fixes things for the building (who''s the messenger between the tenant and the landlord it seem?) I assume one could meet the landlord if necessary but I believe he lives on the South Shore and doesn''t come downtown that often?
Building - at the moment there are some smoking tenants who at times still smoke in the stair case when cold, which at times bugs me because the smoke smell does enter the apartment a bit.
Landlord - you can discuss things with him but he''s not very lenient, if you "really" need to fight something you''d probably would have to go through Regie du Logement to get some action going regarding certain things that could be improved for all tenants in the building.
