I totally agree with most of the previous reviews. Plumbing is always problematic. They fix symptoms not root causes of issues and it's not qualified professionals who fix things.
Appliances look like they are from the 1970s. The rent is expensive for the value and constant hassle with the landlord it offers.
They are aggressive and have no respect for the housing authority laws. Washer and dryers are not working properly, thus many people have to clean their clothes outside the building. The landlord doesn’t put the heating on till mid of the winter to save money, regardless of several reminders.

There was even a cockroach infestation building-wide. Despite numerous trials to reach the property owner, there was no response. We ended up by opening a case with Regie du logements to cancel the lease, because our life was horrible with this apartment. In the court, the landlord twisted the facts several times. He even said that the pictures we are presenting (which are real pictures showing lichens / mold formation on building roofs, especially at the basement) do not represent his property!!!

Few days after we took him to the court, we found an “F" word written on the door of apartment, as well as a sticky note from the property owner to call him. Obviously, after calling the police, the landlord said that someone must have written this “F" word after he has left us the note.

When the decision came to break the lease, the property owner gave us hard times ... We spent hours and days arguing with him. Until now, he is refusing to pay us the “illegal” 200$ of security deposit back.

I would definitely not recommend this building and this landlord! Please avoid this building at all costs. You'll save yourself from a cockroach infestation, constant plumbing issues, dated equipment, and a constant needless hassle from very grumpy annoying landlords.

Possibly the world's most terrible landlord. The premise is average at best. The landlord makes the experience cumbersome and annoying. Too much hassle dealing with him or his wife. Very aggressive while communicating. Always there is a problem in the apartment. There was even a cockroach infestation building-wide. They can afford to barge into your household without a notice. Communicating with them is always a counterproductive hassle. Avoid this building at all costs. You'll save yourself from a cockroach infestation, constant plumbing issues, dated equipment, and a constant needless hassle from very grumpy annoying landlords.

it was near the place vertu mall and the 121 bus stop that takes you to metro cote vertu
- the washers used to stain all my clothes and it never happened again when i left that place ) but that was the least of my problems
that landlord was cheap and disrespectful ,
i had many problems with them concerning the elevator that never works ( 7 floors) or the repairs that were never done.but i think that the worst problem was when i decided to move out after 12 months , he did not want to give me back the 200$ deposit for the keys that the regie told me that he was not allowed to ask for in the first place, i had to take away the deposit from the rent of the last month.
he used to come in my apartment when i was not there to verify if its "clean" ( i had 2 locks and lost the key for one of the two, many times i came home and was locked out because he went in to "verify" and locked the wrong lock ..) he even made people visit my apartment when i was not there. he even made a scene and kicked us out when my sister that lived with me in a 4 and a half came to the freezing pool with me just because she wasnt in the lease !!
he doesnt care or respect any laws of the regie , and the day i was moving out he was really disrespectful because of the deposit and insulted us telling us to go back to our country .. when me and my parents were born here ...
run far and away from this place, it might seem spacious, bright and clean but the landlord should be avoided .

The apartments (3.5 & 4.5) are spacious with tons of storage space.
Extremely old building with very little repairs done.
Elevators going down almost every month.
Landlords never respond to any maintenance issue.
I was there for 2 years. One year in a one bedroom. The plumbing was always messed up, phone calls were ignored.
I originally moved in as I was told it was mainly seniors in the building, and was hoping for some peace and quiet, but I was definitely out of luck. Neighbors constantly noisy, borrowing appliances, and once even asked if they could get the password to my wifi internet.
Outgrew the one bedroom, so decided to move into a 2 bedroom, on a higher floor, I thought it might be quieter, plus it''s a corner space, so maybe less chance of noise, and I was also promised that all the regular maintenance would be done before I moved (sealing up holes in the walls, repairing damaged floors, fixing the front door lock. Nothing was done until 7 months later when I threatened to go to the Regie.
The plumbing in the bathroom exploded and blew out the ceiling of the apartment under us, and the landlord actually threatened to have us pay for it, as if building maintenance was our responsibility.
In the summer, I took my two year old to the pool, but was scared to be by myself, so i asked my brother to help out. He wasn''t even in the pool just sitting on a chair, and the landlord comes out and starts screaming at us that he''s not allowed there, terrified my son, and almost backed me into the water (if it wasn''t for an elderly neighbor screaming from her balcony, he might have been worse).
Btw, they have absolutely no temperature control in the pool, so even on a scolding hot day, the pool is literally freezing. It''s like being in an icicle, really awful.
Even after I had sent them a letter in March of my intent not to renew the lease, by the time July came, they argued with me that they thought I had gotten over it and wanted to stay. I left, didn''t even care to ask for my deposit. I just wanted to get away from that dump!
I swear the building will definitely fall apart soon.
Really awful landlords. Stay away if at all possible, unless you have a thing for being traumatized, insulted and threatened on a regular basis.

Clean and Spacious
I had to take the 200$ from the rent of the last month , the elevator never works (7floors)
He permits him self to go check on your apartment or let people visit it without any warning and when you are not there
He is the worst landlord i have ever seen, he doesn''t respect or care about the laws of the regie
Run , run away and fast .

Cheap apartment, near good plaza Cote-Vertu with my favorite grocery Adonis
Landlord was very cheap and greedy. I needed to open a case with Regie du logements to get my 200$ of security deposit back. Rooms are totally not soundproof and my neighbors were very sensitive to noise and music. When I decided to break the lease owners gave me hard times ... I spent hours and days arguing with them and explaining them Quebec laws. Would not recommend!
