The landlady is really nice and respectful. The apartments are old with high ceilings and big windows, really well maintained for how old it is. Really loved living there in the summer time.
I was on the first floor right over the indoor parking and the fire escape. The floor was hardly even insulated at all! And hydro wasn''t included in the rent, so the hydro bill in the winter was completely ridiculous! I had it up to 23 and it was never warmer then 17. And the landlady doesn''t speak french.
This place was really nice and I''m definitely going to miss it, the location is great with schools and night busses and the metro. But for the heating I would never rent again. Maybe the other floors aren''t as cold, i guess it would be worth checking out.
