Moved here some months ago and still regret it : welcome to the infested inferno. Cockroaches, bed bugs, flies, you name it ! This building is literally crumbling and the landlords are completely irresponsible and the manager is rude and make you look like crazy. Better spend an extra 100 dollars and live elsewhere !

Where should I start. OK.
First, cracks everywhere!!! and they keep rising the rent for no reason because the repairs are not done properly.
Second, cockroaches! And when you talk to the landlord he would spray ONLY IN YOUR APPARTMENT so they will keep on coming on and on.
Third, the roof collapsed this year in one apartment on the last floor ! In my apartment, I had horrendeous leakings. When the roofers came, and god only knows if they are professionals or not, they installed a new section of the roof ONLY WHERE THERE WERE LEAKS, they didn't check the whole roof. Yet, I asked them to and I keep seeing cracks in the ceiling. When I talked to the landlord, he told me simply to wait for a leak to happen!!!!! Then, 4 months ago, we had some new interesting tenants : mice!!!! I was enraged and bought poison that they refused to pay me back because they told me I should let the exterminator do his job. Meanwhile, I had to tolerate the noise the mice made and their stealing of my food which I had to throw a part of !
Then they would never inform you when they get in your appartment and worst they're unprofessional. Many times, I heard them talking to such and such tenants in a very rude and mocking manner ! Don't waste your time, money or nerves here !

The owner of the building and his son are ok. But only appears when signing the lease and collecting the rent.
The property's superintendent is unqualified to fix minor repairs such as basic plumbing, plastering), shutting off fire alarms, or resolving minor isssues, like noise complaints from a neighbor. The hallways and common areas like the lobby are not cleaned frequently.
They rely on a unlicensed contractor to do the repairs. The repairs are mostly patch work but it doesn't resolve the overall problems of the building.
The appartements are mostly 1 1/2. Not renovated. Not very good insulated windows and poor heating.
