The apartment building is infested with cockroaches and the janitor told me it was my fault. The windows are supposed to be double paned but they are missing windows so you have horrible insulation in the winter. The landlord recently updated the windows only on the apartments facing the street, so that it looks nice but the other 30 apartments have old broken windows. You have no control over the heat in your apartment. Often the water in the kitchen is yellow, and you have to run it for many minutes to get clean water. It smells of mold in the bathroom. There are only two washers and dryers and one of the dryers has been broken for months. It's a long walk to any metro or grocery store. They're raising the price every year. I've been living here because i'm a student and poor but if you are not desperate, then i strongly advise you keep on looking.

After a year, I couldn’t wait to move out. The building manager lied about there not being cockroaches. Exterminators came multiple times, but that seemed to have no effect on the cockroaches except that they doubled in numbers. The isolation was bad and we could hear our neighbors quite often. The building is dirty especially in the basement, where we are told to stack our bike next to dozens of others in a small area under a staircase. The building manager would take a lot of time to respond to questions and was quite rude overall. When the water was cut without a warning she became upset that we had called her to report on the situation. The manager’s husband who supposedly does repairs is unhelpful.

Stayed there for 1 year. Needed to leave because of the cockroaches situation. The exterminator came multiple times and it didn't solve the problem. Didn't get support from the landlord for my relocation fee.

If this problem could be solved. I would say that the apartment is close to universities, the apartment are relatively nice and the rent is cheap.

I do NOT RECOMMEND this adress

Cockroaches. Fumigators came many times, only fumigated the kitchen, which obviously didn’t solve the problem, the kitchens in apartment above, below, and on both sides of my apartment. I was even told the problem is with tenants in the basement but they didn’t want to bother them to renovate their apartments. Far from metros. The closest grocery store is closed until 2021. Walls paper thin so you can hear everything in the surrounding units. Washer/dryer overpriced and ruined my clothes. Could not wait to move out from here!

Included water and heating is a plus. Close to grocery store, pharmacy, etc. 20 min walk to UdM.
Cockroaches in the kitchen, mostly around the sink. Had an issue with bed bugs, which seems to be resolved.
