i havent see him since i mooved 4 years ago, so no one will knocked at your door all the time!
the fact that he lives in france can be a problem for some but not for me.
The appartement is cheap for the location 1050 $ but not in really good shape.
there will be no big repair, everything is fix cheaply. But if you are cool with that it''s a great appartement for the price. Neighbours are always 3-4 students in the basement and 4-5 students on the top floor, so there is noise. It is a noisy street in summer. The appartement is cold in winter but its ok with an extra heater. there is no plug in the living room. The windows dont close properly, walls are in bad shape but nothing is really bad. If you are not looking for the perfect place but an affordable 5 1/2 downtown with a great landlord it is a good place to live. You can walk to almost everywhere you wanna go and all the stores you could need are at 5 min walks.
