Really good location, roomy, well lit.
The insulation is crap, in the winter my hydro bill was 120+ a month AND I couldn''t get the heat higher than ~18C. Drafty as hell.
The landlord will not communicate with you, he hires a representative who may or may not be available. I locked myself out by accident once and I had to wait two days to get back in - by paying a locksmith. My bad, of course, but nonetheless the building manager has keys and he just couldn''t be bothered to bring them.
Toilet broke. I had to fix it myself. Front door bottom lock broke (not related to the above incident) and again, I had to fix it myself after complaining for a year.
My lease included parking in the back - which I was not using except when friends drove over - so since I wasn''t parking anything there on the regular the landlord decided to lease it without my knowledge to the neighbour across the street for 150$ a month. I only found this out months after wondering why the hell someone was in my parking spot.
And then after all this he tried to raise the rent. So I left. I feel bad for whoever is moving in after me.
I have legit issues to claim with the Regie but honestly I just can''t be bothered and want to get out ASAP. Moving in a week!
