it is the worst building I ever lived. The landlord does not care about your problems at all. He does not respond to your email at all. If you choose this building, you will hear other neighbors' talk since its walls are too thin. This building is boiling during summer and freezing during winter. I had to pay 200$/ 2 months to make it warm during winter. They might come in without former notice and do not respect your basic rights AT ALL.

Horrible company.
1. The admin never responds to your emails and hardly ever picks up the phone.
2. Extremely thin walls and floors, and management will never do anything about the noisy neighbors even if you complain.
3. Very poor insulation. Very cold in winter and EXTREMELY hot in summer.
4. Way too expensive for what you get (outdated appliances, old carpet floor, etc.)
5. If you don't renew your contract, the management will unlock your door and barge into your apartment for viewing without giving you notice.
6. Dryers are often broken and are never fixed.
7. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this joke of a company.

Landlord is very lazy and can take days to reply, and even after saying he'll do something can go months without doing it.

The ownership of the building has been turned over to the new management last year, and the new landlord only seeks out for his own profits. This apartment has turned into Hell.
The new management forces tenants to raise their rent price about 300 CAD per month for the new candidates for lease transfer and the renewal rate for the rent exceeds 20% which is more than the legal rate. They refuse to follow the rules set by Regie du logement. Sure, they got their own good lawyers.
The apartment itself is cozy and neat, good location for students though.
Bad: noise and water issues. Poor at listening to tenants' needs.
There are much better apartment in the ghetto for the lower price possible.
AVOID at all costs.
