Lived here for two years and had a very nice experience. Landlords are nice people.

Stay away from this property and landlord. I lived some years at this property, but I never felt home. The owners (a mature couple) are very intrusive, especially the woman. They seem friendly at first, but they're not trustworthy. The only good thing is the location: two minutes away from Verdun metro station, 10 mins to downtown by metro, grocery stores, the river is near... Other than that, I do not recommend the landlord. They postpone necessary repairs, if you bring someone to stay there, like family and friends, they will try to charge you more saying water consumption will go very high. Very cold in the winter. It seems there is an insulation problem and once the weather gets a little warmer they turn off the heating. Only one washer and dryer in the building (not in a very good condition). If you do not renew your lease and they want to show the apartment, they won't even call you. They'll just go in without your permission. Very happy I could finally move.

The location is convenient, right next to the green line metro, makes daily commute to downtown easy and fast. Groceries and services within walking distance.
Worst landlord I ever had. Rude and obnoxious. Always postpone necessary repairs for months. They barely turn up the heating in the winter, and turn it off whenever the weather gets a bit warm, and refuse to turn it up again when next day is cold, because they live off island and do not want to drive here. When I show them the low reading on the themometer in my room, they first said that I shouldnt hang it on the wall but in the middle of the room, later on, they accuse the reading on my themometer to be wrong, which was ridiculous. They say they have family in the legal system when tenants want to take something to the court. When I had a relative staying over for two weeks, they asked me to pay extra because we will use more water, and insulted me aggressively on the phone the next day. They once asked me to sign my name on a sheet of paper which only contains few other tenant s signatures without telling why. Now I would even prefer a largely absent landlord than an intruding and irritating one. [...]
