I really enjoyed living in this apartment (5160 Philippe-Lalonde #1). The location is great, right on the Lachine Canal and close to great bars and restaurants on Notre-Dame. But the landlord does not respond to complaints or arrange for repairs quickly. She also tried to raise the rent WAY above what is permitted ($1030 to $1200 per month). The building is also not soundproof - you can hear the upstairs tenant (who is very loud and disruptive) and people as they leave and enter the building.
