I was living in unit 1 of this building for a year and in one word it is terrible for several reasons

1) Ancient heating system that makes huge noise in winter as if someone is hitting the wall with a huge hammer all during the night in your bedroom. Sleepless whole winter and calling the landlord 100 time, she made no effort to fix it.

2) The stairways and entrance is very dirty and the superintendent rarely makes any attempt to clean it

3) It is very old and the wooden floor is infested with lots of ants, spiders and other insects. If you do not use insecticide regularly, they will climb up your bed.

4) The washer and dryer is in an terrible condition, in a very dirty place situated in a small dark room at the end of parking. Designed with having in mind ease of use for serial killers and rapists. And not secured at all, once it was broken for a week because someone broke it to take the coins.

5) Superintendent just consider himself when setting the temperature of the whole building, I hap to keep the 50-years-old windows partly open to be able to stay in the home without sweating.

6) The landlord is so unresponsive . For whatever reason you call her, you will never get a reply.

7) It is very expensive for its quality. Later I found that I could find a great unit which do not have any above-mentioned problem with 50 $ cheaper just just two streets below.

8) It is impossible to lease transfer. I posted several adds on kijiji and several people came to visit but none of them ever called back. I had to wait until the lease finishes :-
