The place is full of bedbugs, do not get into this appartment or any appartment on this block if you want to keep your stuff safe, the owner and the women who allegedly should help you will tell your there is nothing else they can do. They will not pay you for anything you've lost. Avoid this place. When I left my apartment it was still full of bedbugs and they were already receiving visitors to rent it again. They do not care about your stuff they just want the easy rent money and then when you are infested they will let you go and continue like this. Hope this can save someone.

The lady who works in the rental office is not very professional. I went to make a complaint about a tenant who does not live in my building and they have been bothering me for 3 years. I have gone to the rental office many times over the years to complain about the same tenants being so loud that I can hear them in my bedroom with the door and window closed. She told that she did indeed speak to the tenants but nothing has changed. She then asked me what would I like her to do. I said send a registered letter make it formal and then if the tenants do not stop the company may take the tenant to the rental board.
I pay my rent I have the right to enjoy my apartment and live in peace. One family does not have to the right to take the joy of living from any other tenant or their peace. These building on Emile Nelligan are full of bedbugs and cockroaches. I do not live in these building but I do live beside and their tenants are loud. The rental office does not take your complaint seriously. They want you to go to the regie du logement. That way it takes 3 years before they have to address complaints. I found online that the buildings were sold for 13,000,000, the take over will be in June 2017. I am sure there will still be bedbugs and cockroaches and tenants throwing their garbage out the windows. RENTERS BEWARE.
New owners sadly you'll have many problems when you take over. I will make my complaint now and re start the whole process in June 2017. When you hear people who live in another building clearly in your apartment with closed windows you know you have problems. I hope if it is true that the building were sold I hope the new owners will make much needed improvements and be more understanding to their tenants and the tenants who do not live in their buildings. I have lived in my apartment for 12 years and never had problems with any tenant from these building like I do with these tenants who live at 6041 Emile Nelligan. Also I wish the new owners see this comment and take it seriously and employ a better rental agent.
For the people who live there now and those who might want to.
Remember your monthly rent, use of laundry facilities and if you pay for parking is the company’s income.
You can not pick and choose your neighbors but you can pick and choose the building you live in.
Emile Nelligan street in Cartierville was a beautiful place but no more.

The worst ever. The one who is in charge of the building is horrible does not listen. She does not want to work, always shouting at people, she is the real meaning of rudeness. Forget about the maintenance, it will never happen no matter how many times you inform them. I sent two letters for my kitchen sink because it was broken and they never fixed it. Unfortunately, Regie du Logement are so slow to take an action with landlords, even when the matter is urgent.
