There was recently a change in landlords to a new landlord who is a horrible communicator. Soon after the change in ownership, the constant construction started, inside and outside our apartment. There is 0 communication between the workers, the landlord and the tenants, for example, today our cold water was shut off with no warning, with my changing work and school on top of that it is very stressful to not have a heads-up about these things. Recently we went on vacation for a week and for 3 days out of the week there was construction being done in our apartment. We came back to plaster handprints on the curtains, plaster splatters on my rack of expensive vintage clothing which I sell online and I use profits from this to pay my rent. The landlord sends workers to our apartment without our consent, actually when we have explicitly told him that they are unable to come on that day. I work late at night in a restaurant so I do not get to sleep until 3am-4am. Being woken up by construction at 7 am every morning has made it difficult for me to rest. With this and much more blatant disrespect, I don't see how even when the construction is over how he can be a respectful landlord.
