Landlord has a long history of neglecting buildings and tenants, leaving them in terrible conditions like mould, bed bugs, delayed (if it actually get done) repairs. See CBC for Landlord : Israel Freundlich and his manager. Beware.
Find something else!

Landlords are terrible. Asked for a deposit and signed that it would be painted. It was not, many repairs to do, I was lied to about repairs and locked out for over an hour because I handed the key to administration so they can paint my apartment that day, they did not, do anything. I waited for an hour after work to see that. no I was not notified. Things escalated quickly within two weeks, without a mailbox and a text every few days to tell me it would be there, but wasn't. Not recommend.

Washing machine and dryer are located in the basement, and the basement has humidity problems and smells due to the location of the garbage bins.
Small pets are allowed
