I actually liked my apartment, I liked the neighbors and the area but I was scared of the Janitor. At the start of the pandemic I asked him politely about sterilization of the door handles and he became aggressive. I later found out he was moved to another building and this building was hardly ever cleaned. The entrance looks ok, but the laundry room in the basement is really gross. An older neighbor living above me; flooded my apartment a few times (she forgot to close the tap) and the only way to get them to deal with the mold was complain to city hall. The Janitor and usually the management is rude. He refused to give me a storage space, but when my neighbors moved in, he gave them an entire room to store their stuff. The location is good, its easy to get around without a car. But I do not recommend this building, especially not for single women. It might not feel too safe with the intimidation.

Great location close to amenities and nice parc.
Friendly street a lot of people know each other,safe.
Apartments are old, but ceilings are very high, and nice size BUT buyer beware!
No noise insulation, a neighbour walks you can hear everything shake or when a neighbour talks you can even hear what they are saying and that’s only if it’s a couple. If you have neighbours with kids life turns into hell the constant commotion will cause a headache.
Mostly a quiet building despite some sour apples, but if you are noise sensitive don't move in.
It’s a disaster as your only line of defense is to talk to the janitor who already is so overworked you even feel bad asking.
The washer drier room has old machines but if they worked well it wouldn’t matter and am not even talking about the driers.
If you are looking for a great location and safe neighborhood you got it, If however you are looking for a modern apartment and soundproof forget it.
Tons of complaints concerning noise even to the point people move out as it becomes unbearable.
Imagine sitting in your living room and have the walls vibrate with bangs to the point you get a headache.
I didn’t know then, but had I known I wouldn’t have moved in because it’s a disaster. Look elsewhere get a modern building and well insulated.
They should mention it when showing apartments, you will hear noise and am not talking an occasional sneeze it’s the vibrating of the loose walls, if you decide to move in hopefully you don’t get a neighbour that walks heavy

I did not give many stars but I actually like my apartment. It is an old building and fairly well maintained. It is a relatively quiet building. (The walls are thin though and you can hear the neighbors) The landlord is very rude. Most of the tenants I talked to just try to avoid him. The laundry room is disgusting; it is in the garage, not clean and very old machines. Other than that, the location is good.
