The building is nice at first glance and well-located, and priced in the mid-range of area going rates. Neighbours tend to self-police re: misbehaviour.
Landlord incredibly unresponsive to any and all concerns, waits until disaster strikes before responding to requests for repair (and at that has been known to leave people with no heat/hot water for a week or more). Repairs done as cheaply as possibly = never done properly and in a way that lasts. Rent goes up *every year* no matter what.
