Really can''t think of anything right now; once he was doing something in the basement and left without closing the door, turning off the light or leaving any kind of notice
I have never thought there were landlords like this!
R. is just an all-around great person, friendly, open-minded and helpful. He does not live in the building, but shows up in a timely fashion when needed. He keeps an eye on the property as every caring owner should, while giving all the freedom to his tenants.
It is a 4 + 1 unit building, so it''s all very friendly and close. R. is selective with his prospective tenants, he will pick the person he most clicks with. He volunteers in social work and fixes bikes (free for tenants!).
We share a backyard with gardening space, we have composting, he just recently installed a water collection barrel for us - so sustainability is definitely on everybody''s minds.
There are currently 2 dogs, one outdoor cat and one indoor cat in the 5 units, all of whom get along great among each other. There are a couple of cats at the neighbour''s as well, so anyone wanting to move here should be animal friendly.
The apartment gets cold in the winter, neither the insulation or the heating is that great.
