Terrible experience.
I had to leave during the lease because the apartment had mice and the landlord was not addressing this concern. He sent one of his nephews to lay down a few traps and poison, but did not attempt to find the holes and fill them. All the other tenants in the surrounding flats (owned by the same landlord) had similar issues.
The landlord never acknowledged the issue by email or even verbally. Sent his nephew who did not do much and that was that. I left the apartment for another one. Knowing this, the landlord sent some workers to do some major renovations, but STILL had the guts to claim the payment of the remaining months, and even threaten of a lawsuit if I did not pay. I refused to pay, he did not sue. End of the story.
In the meantime, this crook is still renting flats!
