The landlord has no positives. His mother, despite her outbursts, was generally a nice lady and was around to help out with the most basic of needs.
Landlord is an alcoholic, openly racist, "leaves to Greece" for months at a time, is abusive towards other people, and is incapable of addressing tenant demands. Personally witnessed him threaten to kill relatives and almost get in a fist-fight with one of them. His mother, who lives in the building, also routinely engages in domestic disputes that can be heard throughout the building.
