This is literally the worst landlord/management group I have ever dealt with.
1. They do not respond after securing a tenant (inquiries, questions, signaling issues, etc.). The only time they communicate is when money is involved.
2. They do not perform repairs or maintenance. You have to mention the TAL or use legal language to get anything done.
3. Frequent theft of packages and items temporarily left in the hallway or under the stairs (e.g., while moving in).
4. Electricity, gas, heating, and/or water cuts occur with no prior notice.
5. There is no cleaning or maintenance of common areas, such as the laundry room, garbage/recycling areas, hallways, elevator, entrance, and more.
6. Garbage is left to pile up, attracting pests (ants, flies, mice/rats, etc.). There is a massive ant problem in both the common areas and the units.
7. The alarm system screeches constantly and is not turned off for hours or even days, despite multiple reports to management.
8. I had a gas leak from my improperly installed stove. I had to call the firefighters because my family was experiencing gas poisoning symptoms. I reported this to management as well.
9. Construction/renovations are done cheaply (renovated in 2023). Examples: no caulking, no waterproof mortar in wet areas such as the shower and kitchen counters, no silicone or sealant causing joints to crack and break from water damage, floors separating with no subfloors, my entrance door needing to be re-screwed every week, no insect screens on the windows, no ventilation in the bathroom, the light in my hallway has been broken for weeks, the landlord's "paint special", etc.
10. The windows are so old that they have cracks in both the frames and the glass.
Despite all these issues being reported multiple times and left unaddressed, the landlord/management group attempted to increase the rent.
