Trouble maker landlord.
First appeared nice, kind and polite, but situation turns quickly if things do not go their way.
Once I contacted her to let her know of my intention to assign the lease and move out next month. She threatened to sue and started being very uncollaborative.
She made very restrictive and specific request to any candidate, making it extremely hard to find tenant motivated enough to apply (provide their credit score themselves from Equifax, work contact etc).
Despite doing over 75 visits and findind many suitable applicants, she has refused everyone for non serious and discriminatory reasons.
She has refused anyone without a Canadian citizenship or permanent residence, anyone under work visa/student visa. Refused people who provided a credit score from transunion instead of equifax or that couldn't provide one. She also refused anyone doing freelance type jobs or any job she consider ''not-secure''.
Aside from that the building definitely needs a little of love and the insulation for the winter seems a bit poor.
