Maria was an amazing landlord, was extremely fair with the price of rent for the size of the apartment. Developed a friendship with her (which is rare), & she even gave me a cute parting gift when I left for Ottawa.
Old building (early 1900s), so sound & temp insulation was poor, but I believe that was addressed after the renos (done after I moved, so can''t tell how it turned out).
Apartment wasn''t furnished (no fridge/washer/dryer/stove), which contributed to the low cost of rent.
