Apartment and building themselves are quite nice, pretty new. We're on the east side of the building meaning we face directly the building behind. Hardly any natural light and all our plants died.
Although they seemed super easy to communicate with at first, the landlord and concierge are pretty difficult to deal with. They would only communicate via email which made it incredibly inconvenient for emergencies. We once had our tub clogged (by the tenants before, it turned out) on a Friday night and they never returned our emails. We had to call and pay for a plummer ourselves even though it's in our lease that they would pay, and they wouldn't reimburse. When we had complaints about people in the building, we would write and never receive emails back. When we were moving out, the concierge came over no more than 30 seconds before visits to warn that there was a showing. Overall communication with landlord was terrible, luckily we never had any serious issues otherwise we would have had a much more difficult time.
