Terrible, terrible, terrible....
Where do I start.....
LANDLORD:
-Barely answers to his phone
-You only see him once a month when he comes to collect the rent money
-Asked him to repair the door bell, never did it
-Not helpful
-Never checks what needs to be done.
BUILDING:
-Smelly. People are allowed to smoke, so the staircases ALWAYS smell
-Unsanitary, never saw the manager clean the building once
-In desperate need of a paint job
-The trash and recycling bins are next to the entrance, so besides being ugly to look at, during summer, they smell terrible, and attract flies that will get into your building if your mosquito net is broken (my case).
-Very old. So you can hear the floor crack, and the upstairs neighbours walk.
The manager has been there for years, but it seems that he doesn't know how to manage a building.
DO. NOT. RENT. HERE.
AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Good landlord, really helpful; the whole building was full of young and students but there wasn''t excessive noise
Well this is Cote-des-Neiges... not super safe to walk during the night, but this building is not that bad, you just don''t want to walk West... Building quite old, but the landlord seems to be fixing it a little at the time
