If you rent from Les Appartement La Sorbonne, make sure you get a pristine apartment, because I have been waiting more than 2 years for them to fix simple things, rusted refrigerator with handle that is broken since 2011, and a tub that needs refinishing. See images. Landlord is so cheap his idea to fix drop ceiling panels from flood upstairs is to “paint them” Landlord is so cheap that he replaced 10 foot crack in kitchen floor, but didnt replace whole floor. See last image. I have images of bugs and they have refused to spray since 2015.

Landlord also told Inspectional Services that I didn’t want them to fix the bathtub because of fumes. That was a total lie, I have submitted certified letters on two occasions asking them to fix all these issues. It shows that this landlord is all about saving money, and ignoring his tenants.

I have lived here since 2011. It was sold to les App la Sorbonne in 2013. The landlord and his son are problematic at all levels.

The landlord and his son are both very unfriendly. I had to take them to the regie for failure to fit simple things. That was in 2015 now I have been waiting for two years of to fix rusted refrigerator, no handle, flooded ceiling panels in bathroom from upstairs flood, x 2 and a bathtub that needs refinishing.

They shut off hot water In the laundry room because they don't want to have to pay for hot water, but still charge 2.00 for a small load. CHEAP!

Dont salt driveway and stairs, and just cited by city for illegally building a new apartment in basement.

For the past 2 years, they leave the trashcans on the street ALL WEEK LONG because they are to cheap to hire someone to bring them up to the side of the house where they used to be. Ive never seen any landlord do this before.

A few months ago we had a fire alarm and it was because of new construction the landlord had done. I discovered that he had installed a whole new electric system without obtaining the proper PERMITS so I reported them.

The landlord has refused and continues to refuse to fix simple things, and when he was forced to fix bad floor in kitchen, he replaced 40 year old tiles but not the whole floor so it looks ridiculous.

This week the Inspector from Inspectional Services Cote des Neiges told me that my landlord had told them that I didn't want them fixing the bathtub because of fumes. That was a lie and I never said that. I've spent more than 2,000$ of my own money to fix things the landlord should have and I've asked them to fix the flaking tub since 2017, in the summer.

Im not sure why they don't like me, probably because I hold them accountable. The thing is if you find an apartment from Les Apartment La Sorbonne, make sure it is in tip top shape. Because if it isn't, they can make your life hell.

Also, they repeatedly tell me that they want STUDENTS in their apartments, and I'm not sure why .And Im not the only tenant that they harass.
