I paid 720$ in 2019 which is pretty good for a one bedroom in the plateau.
The only problem is the landlord stopped by and told be he was raising the rent 50$. I refused because I couldn't afford it, and the apartment wasn't in good condition, I had been putting a lot of time into painting and cleaning the place. He told me I had to move out and he insulted me telling me I was trouble etc.
He was easy to get along with until I would disagree with him, then he would become hostile and threatening. He lives next door and is constantly in or around the building.
I decided to leave rather than use my energy fighting with him.
