The apartment building itself is very beautiful. Most of the units are fairly large, and they all get nice natural light throughout the day. The main downfall of the building is that the landlord is unresponsive and neglects to do repairs or maintain the building. On multiple occasions the plumbing has been shut off without warning, leaving the tenants in the building without access to water and unable to even flush their toilets. The landlord also tries to increase the rent significantly between tenants and will do repairs as cheaply as possible (so they often need to be redone). It's quite frustrating and takes away from the overall living experience.
