The landlord doesn''t pay much attention to the tenant, unless you send an email or phone call regarding a specific question or issue. She remains otherwise uninvolved.
Landlord was pleasant, but not overly concerned with mouse/rat issue we experienced in our last (of 3) years. In the first two, we didn''t have rodent issues...something happened (perhaps a burst pipe or something) in the last year that brought forth the rodents. She did not react quickly to hire an exterminator or anything. Suggested steel wool in crevices (which was already in place when we moved in)... Hmmm.
The rent was cheap ($830ish) and the space was large, but it was badly designed and renovated...stick tiles on the floor in the kitchen, horrible color, and badly lit, a crazy slope from the kitchen to the rest of the house (had to buy furniture that you could level), the back stairway exit was a death trap and unusable... The rooms were generous, but all in all, for students. I wouldn''t recommend for a family. The landlord was nice but obviously didn''t care much about the place. But hey, if you''re a student... plenty of space and light!
