The neighborhood is great and close to unis and downtown, but the building management is nonexistent. They don't take care of the building or address any concerns. Every year the unscrupulous owners ask for a giant bump in rent and make it sound like you can accept or leave. Water pressure was inconsistent and the hot water disappeared regularly. There was a fire that left the building reeking of smoke and they told people to just open their windows for a few days (in the middle of a cold April.) Electricity was also out for two days because of it and no compensation was offered for spoiled food or damaged property. They really did not care. Windows are worn out and don't work well. It's a run-down place disguised as luxury. Other tenants were friendly, so that was a plus.
