Property manager really doesn’t care about the building neither does he respect the tenants. It’s just a second pay check to fund his retirement plan.
He is unreachable unless you owe rent; he doesn’t keep his word (so be sure to get everything in writing); he’s uncommonly difficult to deal with and has a rude demeanor.
Would not recommend renting there !

The Photo of the apartment is actually inaccurate. it is the big red building at the south west corner of Notre Dame de Grace and Kensington.. the outside is not bad, however the building is basically falling apart, paint peels off the walls in the hall way, a large chunk of the staircase is missing that has yet to be repaired years later. (there has actually been a piece of cement from the roof that had fallen a year ago and is still at the front door)
The landlord is very inaccessible (registered letters have had to be sent to get emergency repairs done).
The janitor is just as inaccessible. noise level is unbearable as people blast music and scream through hallways late at night during the week. The apartments are badly insulated (with heat on blast you can feel cold breezes through the window. Multiple attempts to get things repaired or voicing of concerns have been ignored until they are forced too with a registered letter (typical response from the janitor is "what would you like me to do")

The landlord is a professional, when something needs to get done he does it right away. Understanding.
Janitor very unprofessional. Seems to have no urge to help you with your problems, rude, and has to be bothered for things.
I like the apartment, with a little help it can really be turned into a great place.
